I have given the basic recipe below, which is lovely just as it is, but you may like to add a little syrup, maple syrup or honey the next morning, or maybe a few sliced strawberries, bananas or pears.
The recipe is enough for 4 people but is easily reduced in size to serve one.
If you’re in a hurry you could throw a portion in an empty jam jar and take it with you to work; you could even make just enough for one or two servings straight into the jam jar the night before, then it’s just grab and go the next morning.
I use full cream dairy milk, but if you’re vegan you could use your favourite non-dairy milk in this recipe.
The thing I like most about this recipe is the fact that it requires no cooking whatsoever.
