Rice Pudding Toppings
Eight precious pudding is a beautiful Chinese rice pudding dessert covered with a pattern of glazed fruits and nuts. A hot sugar syrup sauce is poured over the pudding to serve. The pudding may be frozen before or after steaming.

Hot Sauce for Pudding
- 225 g / 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch / cornflour
- 236 ml / 1 cup water
- Mix all and bring to the boil for a few minutes.
- Pour over pudding.
