Title given as Ho T’aChi Ting in Chinese. A delicious chicken and walnut dish with bamboo shoots, celery, onions and water chestnuts.
To remove the bitter flavour of shelled walnuts, cover them with cold water, bring to a boil, and boil for three minutes. Drain immediately. The dish can be also made with blanched almonds.
