Most of us can vividly remember the taste and smell of food eaten outdoors long after we’ve eaten it. One of the nicest meals I’ve ever eaten was one of freshly caught trout grilled over an open fire. An outdoors barbecue or open fire is probably one of the easiest places to cook freshly caught fish – just remember to bring fresh herbs and real butter along with you and you’re set.
This recipe works equally well with other types of freshwater fish, or if you’re indoors the fish can be cooked on the grill or in a hot oven.
